Methods include the exploitation of elastic resistance (progressive load and lack of inertia), applications that provide tests and exercises that can be customized depending on individual motor abilities, and methods that aim at precociously promoting the active recovery of larger joints.
As resistance is proportional to the elongation of the elastic strap, it is possible to automatically adjust resistance according to the joint abilities of patients by applying gradual and customizable loads. In the initial phases, patients are not required to contrast a specific inertia, which means that it is possible to perform exercises more rapidly and quickly change acceleration, thus favoring pliometry and enabling patients to express their force in the shortest time possible.

Designing devices to apply controlled elastic forces to larger joints, assess the most significant parameters (force, angle, ROM, speed, power and work), provide feedback and display the results to allow patients to follow the workout performed with the elastic straps.
